Welcome to the FineSoccer Drills Newsletter. Today’s featured activity works on passing, receiving, quick turns and movement off the ball.
Start with 2 lines of players 20 yards apart and one player in the middle. A ball starts with the first player in one of the lines.
The player with the ball passes to the player in the middle and then follows his pass.
The receiving player turns and passes to the first player in the other line and then follows his pass.
The player who receives the ball on the end line one touches the ball back to the passer who lays the ball off for a square pass.
The player with the ball then one touches the ball to the middle player, follows his pass and they continue this pattern.
Once this activity is going there is a one touch wall pass series on each end, a quick turn and pass in the middle and movement after each pass.
Each pass has to passed to the correct spot, weighted properly and timed properly.
You can change the type of turns in the middle, for variety, and also alter the distance of each of the passes.
Have a great day!
