This week's exercises are from our book, 'One Setup Training'
Technical Warm-Up
All the field players are divided into groups of three: two outside players and one in the center square (goalkeepers work on specific training).
Exercises start from one of the outside players passing the ball to the center one, who can receive and control as follows: open body to pass on the other side after one touch control (left), closed body to play wall pass and the first outside player will pass to the other side (center) or the center player decides how to receive the ball (right).
Variations:
- Change number of touches (one, two touch control and pass)
- Play with one foot or two feet using different parts (inside, outside, sole)
- Type of control from volley balls (head, chest or thigh)Eye on:
- Receiving, first touch and passing quality
- Receivers body placement related to teammates
- Correct runs to receive passes
