1 v 1 to 3 v 3 Continuous Game

I like using continuous games because they are high energy, engage the players and create a very competitive environment. If you keep score then the game can replicate the pressure of the actual game.

62215-1

This game is best played with at least six players on each team. To start the coach passes a ball into the middle and one player from each team competes to win it and score on the other goal.

62215-2

If a player scores they stay on the field and another player from the other team comes on the field to try and win the ball and score.

62215-3

If the ball goes out of bounds before a goal can be scored then both players leave the field and now each team sends two players on to the field. The coach passes to the team that did not touch the ball last.

If a goal is scored then the pair that scored stay on the field and a new set of opponents enter the field as before with the 1 v 1.

62215-4

If the ball leaves the field before a goal is scored while playing 2 v 2 then both pairs leave the field and three players from each team enter the field.

62215-1

If the 3 v 3 does not result in a goal then the game starts over with each team only sending one player on to the field to play 1 v 1.

This is a fun game that is also great for working on quick attacking play in a variety of situations.

Have a great day!
